Dan Bewer started his career in the Fire Protection Industry in 2005, after leaving a very successful offshore oil exploration career as an onboard seismic processor, looking for gas and oil deposits in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea. While the work was enjoyable and extremely satisfying it wasn’t conducive to having a new young Family at home.
Dan began his apprenticeship with Simplex Grinnell in 2005. During the next 5 years, he obtained great experience working for Simplex, BDR and Troy Life & Safety while learning a trade he is passionate about. In 2010 Dan successfully passed his Inter-provincial Red Seal qualification and became a licensed Journeyman. While working in the trade, Dan was fortunate to have worked on many large and small construction projects like the beautiful James Richardson Winnipeg International Airport to many smaller warehouses and office spaces. Dan has done both Service and Inspections of all types of sprinkler systems including specialty systems like Foam, Sapphire and CO2 fire suppression systems.
Throughout the years Dan has made positive and solid connections with a variety of Customers throughout Winnipeg and Northern Ontario. Canopy Fire Sprinkler Inspections & Service was developed out of a passion for the Industry. Dan’s guarantee is to provide professional and quality service in a timely fashion. Customer Service Excellence will be the “mantra” of Canopy Fire Sprinkler Inspections & Service.

Candice comes to CFSIS with more than 25 years of working in the service industry. Her powerhouse customer service skills and innate ability to get the job done was exactly what CFSIS was looking for. Candice’s in-depth exposure to the mechanical, electrical, sprinkler and fire alarm industries makes her an incredible asset to CFSIS.
Candice has been instrumental in ensuring companies are run efficiently and effectively. She is excited to provide each CFSIS customer with VIP treatment! With her dedication to provide each customer with a positive experience, Candice is the perfect fit to support you and all of your administrative needs. Her intuitive nature, extreme focus, leadership skills and strong drive for excellence in customer service put her in the top of her class. She has won several Senior Coordinator Awards and Customer Service Excellence Awards.
In her spare time Candice enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Chloe. Candice is a huge supporter of various Animal Rescues in Winnipeg and dedicates a lot of her time volunteering for various rescues. She enjoys cooking and entertaining for her friends as well as fishing, golfing and lake time.
